While negotiations continue, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has announced further strike action. CUPW has given notice that it intends hold rotating strikes in the Greater Toronto area, (excluding Scarborough) and most of the 905-region beginning after 12:01 am on Tuesday, October 23.
Mail and parcels will not be delivered or picked up in Toronto during the rotating strike. However, Toronto is also a key processing hub for mail and parcels in Canada. The union's rotating strike will therefore have a significant impact on Canada Posts' operations. Canada Post will make every effort to minimize the impact, but customers across the country may see delays for parcel and mail delivery.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has given notice that it intends to hold rotating strikes in Victoria, Edmonton, Windsor and Halifax beginning after 12:01 am on Monday, October 22 (local time), and lasting 24 hours. In those areas, mail and parcels will not be delivered or picked up.
Canada Post continues to operate across Canada, and will accept and deliver mail and parcels in all other locations. Read More >
